Hi All,

We installed PI 7.0 recently.i try to configure commincation channel when i clicked on adapter type in saying no objects found....could any one tell me what could be the problem..(I imported sap basis SWC but it is not showing any data)

Hi P T Rao

Do these steps

1) Download XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz which is available in a zipped format from the SAP Service Market Place.

2) Unzip the contents and copy the file XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz (if you are using PI 7.0 or else download the file for your XI version) to

/usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/

3) Goto Repository (Design)

4) Choose -> Tools -> Import Design Objects

check adpter meta data in BASIS component is their or not if not their then you need to reimport the BASIS SWCV

Re importing the SAP BASIS software component

This will help you

Thanks for your reply.i am trying to find XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz in service.sap.com but i couldnt able to find .

could anyone tell me is this XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz is available in market place....

hi,

after installtion.did u do all post installation steps.or run the template for post installation steps.also configure SLD.then u try the scenarios.

Adapter metadata will come with the SWCV SAP BASIS. Please make sure if it is properly imported in IR.

I checked mt TS and BS according to the docx everything is but still i cant c the Adapters.

i couldnt able find this in service market place..

Hi Sudheer,

I imported SAP BASIS swcv but in the software component it is not showing anting.( for PI 7.0 sp 12 i imported SAP BASIS 7.0 SWCV)..

Hi,

if you are on PI 7.0 <b>SP 12</b> the file <b>XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_12_00.tpz</b> should be downloaded from SAP service market place and imported in the repository.

Could not get ur question?what i mean is the technical system and business system were not created/ created properly for the XI server in SLD . verify that .
