Only two days should be available for posting

Hi Experts,

Client wants only current date and previous date ( current - 1 ) to be allowed for posting. Is it possible in SAP? Please help me.

Hi Santosh,

How can it is possible to post current & previous dates... If u open posting periods the system will allow entire month transactions... Tell about ur exact requirement so that we can think for other solution.

Thanks... my requirement is like thi, Today is 16.08.2007, I dont want user to post any docyment prior to 15.08.2007 or on 17.08.2007. That means only yesterday and today should be open for posting.

I am aware of posting period open and close and entire month being allowed for the posting.

Let me know if this is possible...

Hi Santosh,

As mentioned already, FI document validation (OB28) at header level is the workaround for this requirement.

as alok said only by validation - define the valid posting date: sy-datum resp. sy-datum - 1

This can be done only through validation

kindly check the t.code ob28, and validate on system date.
