Hi,
If I export a document from DMS to C folder and then change the original document in the DMS , will the changes be reflected in the Document available in C Folder?
If not by default , is there a way to do so?I want that the original file in DMS & C folder to be linked to each other , and any changes in DMS to be reflected in CFolder.
hi,
No
If you change the DMS document, it ll not reflect the changes in doc present in Cfolder.
What you can do is, config Cfolder for DMS object link.... and instead of creating a copy of DMS Document in Cfolder, give object link.
E.g.
in DMS create
-
abcd/doc/000/01
Cfolder
Have an object xyz with a link pointing ABCD/DOC/000/01

Hi,
There are no standard ways to achieve this.
Find a DMS BADI that gets called when you checkin a original. (DOCUMENT_MAIN01, not sure abt this one.)
Call to CFX_BI_RI_UTIL_FILE_TO_CF.
The problem is that how to know which collaboration/folder/document, we have to update this document to.
