Namespaces: Difference between URN & URI

hi,

Namespaces can either be defined according to URN or URI standards. Wanted to know if there is any fundamental difference between the two and when would one be prefered over the other, i.e. in what circumstance would you use URN and when would you opt for URI.

Hi Manpreet,

you use URI i.e. http://<name>; when you wish to export your namespaces over the web.
