Hi,
where do you see the message? is it during the creation of the purchase order (or) do you see the message in the IDOC list (WE02).
In the Purchase order in the MM system --->
Open the purchase order --> there will be one button 'messages' ---> click on this and see wether there is any entry available there.
If all the communication settings are maintained correctly , in the above setting , there should be one entry with the following details
output type--->NEU Purchase order
medium --> EDI
function -->LS
system --> SUS client number as specifed in the landcape (or) customising.
if there is no entry , please maintain all the required customizing for sending the IDOCs out from the MM system according to the config guide.
Hi,
further to my above message , please perform the following steps.
You have do define the purchasing output in MM system , in the following way
transaction MN04 --->Output type enter NEU ---> then select KeY combination
purchasing output determination:Purch.org/vendor for EDI
then enter data in this customizing
supplier in : vendor field
LS in :partner function
SUS client according to your landscape in :partner
6 in : Medium
3 in : Time.
-
Menu path for MN04
Menu Path ---> Logistics ---> materials management --->
purchasing ---> Master data ---> Messages ---> purchase order ---> Create

which scenario are you using?
is it SUS-MM (or) EBP-SUS scenario?
if it is EBP-SUS scenario , can you please check the output medium in the OUTPUT tab of the purchase order?
it should be XML.
