I do brbackup on instance SR1, online full backup + archivelog, sometimes successful, sometimes fails with the same error(the error appears at different point in each backup run), with exactly the same settings, the server has 6G free memory, should not be a memory issue, following is my error part, please advice:

hi,
the permission is:
drwxr-xr-x 2 orasr1 dba /oracle/SR1/102_64/rdbms/audit
I am running brbackup from sapgui /db13,
I am not sure whether this is a permission issue, even the error says so,
because the brbackup run sometimes succeed, sometimes failed, with exactly the same settings, if it is a permission issue, it would fail everytime, correct? please advice

Hi ,
As ORA-09925 occurs along with operating system error 13 (Permission denied), there may be problems accessing the files under $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/audit. Check whether this directory exists and whether ora<sid> has write permission. Also checkout Note 583861.

Hi,
Pl check the following note to get an insight of the prob
Note 583861 - UNIX: Errors due to Oracle executable.
Though it is for unix, still it gives a good tracking.
Hope it helps.
