Change Default Parameter

I would like to change the default of a particular parameter ID on screen 0307

I have changed it in SU01 under the "parameters" tab by adding the parameter ID and parameter value. The change has not appeared and the old default is still chosen from the drop down list.

Should I be going about this in a different way?

Allie,

You can also maintain your user profile via transaction SU3.

In the parameter tab, you can add your parmeter ID and default there.

To get the parameter ID you can go to your transaction.

i.e.

Let's say I want to default in the order type for sales order creation.

I would do a Va01, do an F1 in the order type field to get ID.

In this case the ID is AAT.

I would at AAT to my parameter list and then put the default as "ZPRO".

Note this default setting is only good for specific user and not anybody else.
