Hi,

While i am creating Partnet profile it is saying please enter permited partner number.

Partner profile you are trying to create is of LS right.

Hi Abhishek,

i am configuring connection between the

R3(A)-XI---R3(3)

here IDOC pushing from one system and it reaching same system through XI.

i want to know while creating partner profiles in place of partner number of LS of which system LS i have to give there (R3 itself ya XI one)..

two R3's are same system....

R3(A)-XI---R3(A) ( Even it is same no problem)

in this case for R3(3) system if you are defining partner profile it will be XI's LS name as you are reciving the IDOC from XI.

Rao,

Which partner type are you trying to create. If you are tryung to create a partner of type "LS" --logical system, first you need to defined and assign Logical systems.

You can define n assign a logical systems using TC : SALE.

one question

if ia m doing IDOC transfer in the same system through XI,

in the partner profiles what partner number do i have to mention.i try to mention XI LS name but it is giving above message like not permited...

could any one tell me what partner type i have to mention there...

Partner type is the LS for this jsut mention the partner profile name it should take, usuanlly we give he XI LS name as the Partner profile name for LS.

Have you defined ths name in the SALE tc? it will take the LS name of XI as the partner

What type of partner ? KU ? If so, these are validated against table KNA1. LS ? These are validated against defined logicals systems.

Basically it means the partner number you are entering cannot be validated for the partner type you are entering.
