I am not using ABAP at all & i want to avoid ACF installation on client side.

I am using :

Hello Virag Shinde,

ACF is supported with all the SPs across the Netweaver 7.0 stack and we will continue to support that except the fact that no further development will happen in that area. ZCI is the future of Interactive Forms solution by SAP.

Following two notes would be helpful to get started with ZCI:

1042394: Updating Interactive Form template with ZCI capability

1055911: Creating ZCI based interactive Forms in Web Dynpro for Java

Hi,

You are still on an older release of NetWeaver. ZCI is supported from NetWeaver 7.0 SP09 onwards. No support for ZCI in NetWeaver 2004.

I am using

1.SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio

Version: 7.0.12

Build id: 200704072140

2.Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7.1 & Adobe Reader 7

Do i need anything else?

I am not able to find any property "type" for a Interactive Form in NWDS where i can set the property as "native"

Hi,

So you do see the "displayType" property. You need to set it to "native" (which is ZCI in essense). There is no such property called "type".

Designer version (7.1) is fine. But the Reader version recommended is 8.1. Although, 7.x is also fine.

Yes, ACF is supported as of SPS11.

Select type 'native' in your form's properties and check without ACF installed.
