Ides- ecc 6.0 does not work

Dear all,

I installed SAP-IDES ECC 6.0. I works correctly first time. But after I shut down my computer I could not connect to SAP-IDES. I installed SAP-IDES database files on external HDD.

First I start SAP SYSTEM which is RTA on my computer.Then I start SQL SERVER.

After I do these GUI gives ERRROR AS:

<i>partner "admin-pc:sapdb00"not reached.</i>

How can I correct the error?

Is your system correctly started? Is the database running?

Hi Markus,

Yes, the system is started correctly.Both sql server and sap system start correctly.

And you SAPGUI is installed on the same PC? Did you rename the machine?

Dear Markus,

I solved the problem. Thanks for your responds. But another problem exists now. I have installed SAP-IDES on my computer which is directly connects internet. And I gave static IP to my machine. Now I try to start SAP-IDES but now I connect a lan which connects to internet via SERVER, for that reason I have to change my local area settings for example: DEFAULT GATEWAY and DNS SERVER. But IP is the same.

When I start SQL SERVER and SAP SYSTEM; SQL SERVER starts normally but SAP SYSTEM starts then shut downs a few minutes later.

Under Path:SAPMMC under PROCESS LIST, disp+work.EXE does not work.

And I can not connect to SAP-IDES.

What I should do?

What you do is pretty dangerous in sense of security because everyone will be able to connect to your system and "hack" it.

As always, if systems do not come up check

for possible erros.
