Selected Element in Web Dynpro Mobile Table

Hi,

I have been created a simple Web Dynpro just one table with one action (button), but when i select a line(element) and click in the button, the screen no load.

Do I need to set up something more

to be able to use Table and Button in that screen?

I write the direction of a web dynpro... Appear the first screen correctly, the screen is:

- An inputtext

- A table

- A button

When i write in the inputtext and press the button, the screen is convert in blank... but, if i do the same in my pc, it work fine.

Hi Victor,

Do you mean if you run the same application on mobile client then its not working?

If no, then except your pc where else you are running the app.

Are you using some device to run the webdynpro app?

is it a online or offline application?

- I say that the same application run in the pc but not run in the pda.

- I use the IE of the PDA.

- It´s a online application.

Hello,

IE for PDA is different from IE laptop. I am pretty sure that WebDynPro doesn't have the appropriate html generator for it (latest version of WDP extensively uses javascript and CSS which IE PDA does not excel in). I would ask the question in the dyn pro forum.

Hi Victor,

If am not wrong then you are using nw04s SAP WAS.

Are you running the application in windows mobile 2005.

If yes then run the application with parameter sap-wd-client=Pie03Client.

You can run it like -:

http://servername:port/webdynpro/dispatcher/vendor/projname/appname?sap-wd-client=Pie03Client

Looks like the problem is with rendering of the Webdynpro pages on the PDA.

You can use a URL parameter to force the rendering for a specific device type. To do so, add the following parameter to the URL for calling the Web Dynpro application:

· For Pocket PC: sap-wd-client=PieClient

(for windows 03 :- U can add Pie03Client).

· For BlackBerry Wireless Handheld: sap-wd-client=WmlClient

· For Nokia Series 80 devices: sap-wd-client=NokiaS80Client

Also some of the UI elements may not be supported by the browser on PDA which may also lead to data issues. Please check on help.sap.com for that.

Else It can be with assoiciating an event with the button. Please ensure the mapping is correct.

If you trying to select a line / record from the table upon which some action has to be performed, Then

There will one option called onleadselect in the table properties, call the action event in this method in the view where you have defined your table.
