can any body help me, i saved delivery document safely bt un able to create PGI PLS let me knw the reason.............

put ur query in a right way. u cannot save the delivery document safely

without doing pgi.

Hi Ravi

You can certainly save a delivery document <b>WITHOUT</b> doing PGI. Check at your end by going to VL01N and save. System will give a delivery document number.

Before doing PGI, check whether storage location is flowing against the material. If not, enter the storage location and do PGI.

hi,

check

1.have u enter pick qty in delivery document

2.if u maintain serial no profile,give serial no

3.if u maintain packing mandatory in delivery item catagory, then u pack first then do PGI.

What error message u get it..elloborate it.bye.

Hi Reddy,

There are different reasons for Unable to do the PGI.

1.Give the shipping point correctly.

2.Mention the Selection date as Material Avilable date.

3.Mention the Plant corrctly.

4.Mention the storage location and the deliver quantity.

5.Please check the period is open or not for the current month.

6.The most important is Whether the material is confirmed in the sales order or not?

If u maintain these all, most of the errors in the PGI may vanish,
