account assignment for doc type

hi,

for services alone i am having 2 document types. here i want to restrict the usaage of Account assignment category document type wise, how can i configure the same.

example:

document type ACC. Asnment caty item category

1. Services-cost centr K D

2. Services Projects P D

item category can be controoled , bot how to control the account assignment for a single item category.

i dont want to use P for cost centre and K for Projects.

Hi

In OMG0 u can maintain allowed comination of account categories and item categories. Here u can set D will be allowed for K and P only but it will be applicable for all document types.

You can control item categories for document type for PO go to SPRO>MM>Purchasing>PO Select document type and go to allowed item categories here you can control item categories for a document type

Hi

As Vishal it is not possible with standard functionality.

You can restrict itemcategories based on document type.

And you can restrict document type for itemcategories.

But in your case item category is unique and document types are different, which is not possible.

I didn't get exactly wht u want. U want acct asnmnt to be fixed for a doc type or K and P to be fixed. Plz let me understand exactly.

I think there is no standard functionality as such

Try to use EXIT_SAPMM06E_012 INCLUDE ZXM06U43

Or check user exit MM06E005 with some ABAP coding
