hi all,

whar are the configuratins taht must be done at sender side and receiver while doing file2idoc and idoc2file scenarios?

<b>Configuration in the Sender SAP R/3 System.</b>

Step 1: Define Logical Systems for Sender and Receiver Systems (SALE)

Step 2: Assign the Sender Logical Systems to the Client(SALE)

Step 3: Create RFC destination to SAP XI(SM59)

Step 4: Send the Idocs to the Receiver

<b>Configuration in SAP XI</b>

Step 1: Define Logical Systems for Sender and Receiver Systems

Step 2: Assign Receiver Logical System to client

Step 3: Create RFC destination to SAP R/3

Step 4: Port maintenance in IDoc adapter

Step 5: Load IDoc Metadata

<b>IDOC-XI-FIle scenario follow this :</b>

Do the following steps

1. Business System configuration in SLD.

1. Create a technical system pointing to the the R3 system.

2. Create a business system poitning to the logical sytstem / client of the R3 system.

2.Partner Profile configuration

R3 :

1. We20 -- Create Partner Profiles.

2. We21 -- Create a port.

3. SM59 -- Create an RFC destination poitning to XI.
