Blueprint - Deliverables

The purpose of this phase is to create the Business Blueprint Document, which is a detailed documentation of business processes and other objectives identified during the requirements workshop. In the Business Blueprint phase, you define the Baseline scope and refine the original goals and objectives and the project schedule.

Focuses on documenting the business process requirements of the client

Combining them with the SAP functionality in order to prepare a Business Blueprint document.

These steps are accomplished by completing questionnaires, developing flow charts of all processes, and participating Business Blueprint Workshops to determine:

o Business Process Requirements

o Need for Extended Functions

o Requirements for Reporting, Interfaces, and Conversion

who will create transportation request?

Transport requestis created by the person who does configuration at the end of every configuration you are require to save it in a request which is later (after UAT) transported to production by basis consultant in some cases individual module lead also does this work. every transport request has a child request which in a way is subdivision of a transport request.

A consultant has to release child request first and then parent request for which a basis consultant gets a requisition and then basis consultant adjusts the transport request and tranports it to product or as the case may be.

Blue print has to have AS-IS study- as the business process is currently.

GAP analysis-gaps in any sense of business process.

TO-BE as the process is supposed to be.

There are plenty and this may differ from situation to situation. like ;

Delivery chalan maintained manually.

Weak control over sales discount.

weak control over incomplete information in sales order. etc

yes, we can sell same material from as many division. let division be populated from customer master or sales order only.
