I could not install the trial version of abap 7.0 as sap management console is not install. kindly help.

Hi Amit,

You start installation, it will automatically install SAPMMC, it will be installed in <SIDADM> user's desktop. Check with all the pre requirits like java installation, environment var.

thats the problem!!

When I am trying to install the trial version of abap 7.0, it is throwing the error message that sapmmc does not exist.

Kindly tell me what to do to install the trial version.

Hi Amit,

Guess you trying to install SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version SP12, right?

You don't need to install a SAP MMC before installing the application server. And you don't even need a SAP MMC to start/stop the server.

Could you please check whether there are residual files/registry entries from previous installation of SAP software. Clean this by using the <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/67d87cef-0d01-0010-e985-d9af92303bd4">Registry Clean Tool</a>.

Please post the exact error message if the problem still exists.
