how to avoid duplication of records fron sender to receiver system? How can we check the record is duplicate one? How can we send multiple records from sender to receiver side?

i am not sure about how to check the duplication of records, i dnt think you have way until you wriute an UDF whcih checks the same record occuring number of times if ys then it will suppress.

about sending the multiple records from sender to receiver side, this is the normal way of design just make sure the occurence of the DATA TYPR fields you create are 0-Unbounded, this will take care of it.

while selecting different format files or records we have give any special parameters while choosing adapters and communication channels?

Actually Xi is already having this facility.XI can take care of Duplicate records/duplicate messages.Have u heard of Quality of Service(Qos)???

there r three types of Qos in XI.

1)Best Effort(BE)

2)Exactly Once(EO)---here xi will not accept duplicate records.

3)Exactly Once In Order(EOIO)---Here any record/message will go only once + in a order.

u can find this option in any Adapter.
