House Rent Exemption

hi Everyone,

I have created a Wage type as HRA and entered the amount in Basic Pay Infootype 0008,

Now how can i Link the amount entered in the basic Pay infotype 0008 and 0581(HRA/CLA/COA).....so that when iam entering the rent amount here.....it should calculate the House Rent Exemption........?

Would appreciate if anyone can help?

Hi,

When you are maintaining infotype 0581 system dynamically will take you to the Infotype 0008, and for tax exemptions it will take as below:-

Rent Paid - 10% of Basic Salary

40% of Basic Salary

Actual Amount Received ad HRA in the Payslip

Which ever is less it will take that amount as exempted.

Thats what, but here it is not dynamically taking to infoype 0008, and while entering rent it is saying " No automatic updation for Infotype 0008.Relevant wage type not found"

When you enter values in IT0581, system automatically pops-up IT0008 screen, provided, the supporting standard Code is available in Dynamic Action table. (T588Z). You need to save the IT0008 that popped-up.
