vendor master mass update

Dear All,

Could you so kind to help me in the below issue,

We have around 5000 vendor. At present all the vendor master 'comments' field (that appear in the extreme below in the address screen of General data) is blank.

Our requirement is to fill with same data to all the vendor master comments field.

I just tried the mass maintenance T.Code - XK99. But could not find the subjected field in update field list.

Let me know whether above requirement can be possible with T.Code - XK99?

If yes, what is the field name ?

Is there any other option except LSMW.

Your earlier replay will highly appreciated?

Please try transaction : MASS

if you want to use MASS, you need to consider that it is used to make a mass change for a single value.

So an example of this is the Tax field you are refering to.

If you want all, or a range of customers to have the same value in the field then use MASS, if you want each customer to have a different value use LSMW.
