Difference between 0:Unbounded and 1:Unbounded

Hi ,

whenever i'm doing mapping.. i'm getting one doubt ...what is the difference between 0:Unbounded and 1: Unbounded in Mapping...

because if i select 0: unbounded or 1: unbounded both are working same type..

plz clear my doubt

Hi Babu,

0.....Unbounded:

The minimum occurance of the node is 0 i.e it may also not exist and the Max occurance is Unbounded.

1....Unbounded:

The minimum occurance of the node is 1 i.e it is mandatory to have atleast a value for this node.

Hi Babu,

Occurrence is 1:Unbounded for a target structure in mapping means the occurence of that particular node is mandatory. So you have to take care that some thing will always get mapped to that node. Otherwise it will result in an error.

Occurence is 0:Unbounded means the occurence of that node is optional. Its ok even if nothing gets mapped to that node.

Hi,

0...unbound means

the node may not exist or may exist any no. of times.

1..Unbound means

Node will occur minimum once and max it can occure any no. of times
