Sprint installation on Windows 2000 advance server... missing SXS.dll

I seems to have problem running the setup of Sprint in the w2k server.

I have check the log and the following is

08:21:04 NwSapsEngn 1 Script: Checking for minimal version of 'C:\WINNT\system32\Sxs.dll'...

08:21:04 NwSapsEngn 1W Variable-Script: The file 'C:\WINNT\system32\Sxs.dll' is missing!

I have check that there is no Windows 2000 version of SXS.dll.

So does that mean that I cannot install it in Windows 2000 server ?

or does anyone have any idea on how I can install on the Windows 2000 server.

Hi Suanwang,

As i understand from your posting, then you are having problem with the setup of sprint on Windows 2000 server.

Have you installed SAP on your windows 2000 server?

I need to know this as I am not sure if this is the right forum, if the query is only related to sprint with win2k without an SAP environment.

It is a File and print server and have no SAP being installed in this server.

Only SAPGUI is installed.

*Note - I have no problem installing it on a W2k3 server. I have check that the SXS.DLL exist in W2k3 servers but not on the w2k one.

SAP (ECC6.0) is installed on Another server (w2k3 64bit) and I am want print via a File and Print server (SAPSprint) which is a w2k server
