F1 help blank

Hello SAP experts:

I have new laptop with Windows Vista and our F1 help appears blank due to internet explorer 7.0. IE 7.0 is now integral component of Vista and cannot be uninstalled. It also does not support IE 6.0. Can anyone advise on this?

Hi Atul,

If you are using IE 7.0 and getting blank screen when using F1 help then please check the patch levels of the SAP GUI.

If you are using SAP GUI 620 then make sure the minimum patch level is 64

and if it is SAP GUI 640 then minimum patch level should be 20.

Vista is also giving me another problem. I was in transaction HUMO and when I clicked to display a handling unit, it logged me off directly and also closed the SAP GUI automatically in less than 1 sec.

I am facing with a similar kind of problem.

When I try to execute few transactions, the session is getting auto logout.

But in your case I heard that there is some problem with VISTA.

Anyway I am working on this..mean while if u get any solution, pls let me know

some of my colleagues encountered the same question, they fixed the problem by modifying the key in Registry Editor, change the items to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x \ItssRestrictions] "MaxAllowedZone"=dword:00000004

You can try installing SAP GUI again. That Might solve your problem.
