Batch management conversion factor

Dear Sap Guru's,

I have a prolem regarding the batch management.

My product is a pipe, having different sizes (i.e. thickness,outer diameter and grade of pipe)

So I Have plan to make a common material master for it.

I want to specify that sizes in the batches.

There is one issue,How can I configure the conversion factor for the base unit of measure for diffrent batches.

Clint want Prouction unit should be in MT and meter (Base unit of measure) both for every material.

Raw material is in MT.(tone).

Please suggest me the answer....

you may have to implement "Batch specific unit of measurement" functionality.
