SAPLOGON pad appear when call SAPGUI via iView

I found that SAPLOGON pad appear when call SAPGUI via iView. Is that a bug?

Thanks all. May be I haven't clarify well. I want sapgui call via iView will not show neither saplogonpad not saplogon in task bar.

Henry,

You have to set the registry key menioned earlier on the PC's and SAPLOGON will not appear when you launch the SAPGUI in an iView.

Hi,

IT could be a bug. But can also be because of improper user mapping. Check if u have create the system properly, then the alias, test the connection and then check for appropriate user mapping for that system alias. If everything is fine, then iView launches the r3 screen with the required transaction.

Also check if GUI is installed properly in the client.

We had the same problem since Portals is our main entry point. Assuming you are using version 6.40, you can set this registry key:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAPGUI]

"StartSaplogon"=dword:00000000

6.20 has different keys. I haven't looked into 7.10 yet.

Works on 7.10 also. There is a note that recommends using FEP 4 if you use that setting.
