Hi,
We are currently using SAP ECC5.0. We have existing internal as well as external number range with only 1 group as follows:
Group1: 000000001 to 99999 Internal
10000 to ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ External
Now, as part of new company addition in existing setup, we need to have new material type with internal number range as follows:
NewGroup: 100000000 to 9999999999 Internal
Before I create new internal number range, I have to split existing external number range as:
10000 to 99999999 External
and 10000000000 to ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ External
Now, problem is: I am not able to create 2 external number ranges as above and assign to existing Group1. Please note that group1 and those material types are existing setup and cannot change it, except to steal 9 and 10 digit numeric number range and setup as internal for new material type.
Please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
- Naren
Hi Naren,
Starting and enter Number range also should be different.
See if you give your no.range from 1000-zzzzzzzzzz.Then you cannot extend more than this for 'z'.so you try with 1000-zzzz.and for next company code you can give 10000-zzzzzzlike that.
