Hi Expertise,
Please clarify me what is login/no_automatic _user _sapstar parameter because
in order to use sap.net connector I have changed the value of this profile from
1 to 0 in Default profile of our test system and restarted the SAP .It worked.
my doubt is what is the significance of this parameter what are the other areas
this change in the parameter will effect. I am a fresher in SAP please help me out .
Thanks in advance
Best Regards
Venkata Satya
Hi Venkata,
Usually parameter login/no_automatic _user _sapstar is changed to 0 (disabled) after the system installation and configuration as it represent a security thread... usually Auditors recommend the switch this parameter off after system deployment.

Is .net uses sap* ? else I dont understand why it started working after changethe value to 0 from 1
Meaning of the profile parameter values are
0: Automatic user SAP* is permitted
1: Automatic user SAP* is deactivated
Thanks
