Solution Manager 4.0 Upgrade Mount CD\DVD details

Hi,

I am in the process of upgrade of solman to 4.0.

I downloaded all the 11 rar files and kept it extracted.

Please give an idea of what is the path i have to give for it.

Please see the cdtrace.log also

Hi Kalyan Boyapati,

I just wanted to say that you have to extract exe file manually. If you dont do it, It will never work properly in my past experience.

Hi,

Just select the actual folder where you have stored and extraced the cd/dvd data.. or .ASC label..

should work fine.. How did you extract files, One of them should be exe file. Hope you have used unrar utility to extract....

Hi,

Just started the exe file. It automatically extract all the rar file in that flder.

Thats what i guess right. Should i need to extract all the rar files. I dont think so.

No need to extract manually.Just download the file or mount the CD. and give the LABEL.ASC file path and sapinst will take of everything (if it needs to uncar or installation).
