Restrict access to ECP button in CJ20N Transaction

Hi,

In our scenario we want to restrict usage of ECP to certain users. But users can use ECP in CJ20N transaction Screen.

How to restrict access of ECP in CJ20N?

Hi,

I'm facing the exact same issue. We want to block some users to access the easy cost planning screen from CJ20N and block them of using tcode:  CJ9ECP.

Hi

Have test role and perform trying to find out objects which are related to ECP in CJ20N. The other option, ask your Basis team to perform trace for test role while initializing the ECP icons in CJ20N. This will definitely help you to find out the related object.

You can have a look to Note 625981 to provided an authorization check to transaction CJ9ECP.

Alllow using this tcode

CJ9ECP easy cost planning

ECP stands for Easy Cost Planning & I have consulted my BASIS but the object is still to be traced. It would be helpful if you can give me the object which needs to be blocked.

I am not very sure, but please try authorization object C_CABN. "Authorization for Characteristics Maintenance"
