Layout set "NewsBrowser" cannot show non-xml news

Hi all,

We've got a strange problem:

We have a KM navigation iview whose layout set is "NewsBrowser",but it cannot display non-xml news, (for example,upload news,simple text news ,and so on).

instead,an error message is displayed:Resource cannot be displayed with XMLResourceRenderer.

How can it happen? How can i fix it?

hi,

NewsBrowser layout set not support non xml news, its support only xml news...

if u want to use non xml news, change the layout set...

But how can another portal displays non-xml news normally?

does it cause by the support package level?

Then which layout set should i set?

You can use "NewsExplorer" Layout set for non xml news...

But NewsExplorer is a little far from what we want.We just want to "show the news" , just like normal home-news?

Hi,

I think if u want to display news, you can use 2 layoutsets like NewsBrowser & NewsExplorer., so choose one of the layout from the layoutset.
