SAP R/3 Configuration Details

Hi,

I have a SAP NetWeaver Sneak Preview with EP 6.4 version,in that i want to configure to SAP R/3 system.How do i configure? Please let me know the details ASAP.

Hi,

Why do u need to connect to R/3.. when you want to just connect to R/3 system frmo portal you can create a system and do it.

If you want it to be a part of your landscape you have to configure the SLD.

There are a quite a lot of details missing ? Please do elobarate the scenario.

Plus ...please go to help.sap.com and search for SLD configuration and JCo s. It might consume your time.. but its worth it..:)

Hi Erin,

Thaks a lot for your kind information.I was tried to configure SLD with the screens provided.But i could not find "Start SAP Logon and enter tcode rz70"(Step 20).From where i can start the SAP Logon?

Hi Murugan,

If you want to connect SAP R/3 then no need to go for SAP Logon and tcode RZ70.

You just have to configure your SLD on WAS or portal.

Then, make JCO connections to connect to the SAP R/3.
