Is it possible to assign some role to some employee(User) in EP real-time?

I knew EP roles mean each employee's menu heirarchy to be have.

Anyway. I meet the situations that assign a role to someone real-time through event from ESS applicatoin automatically.

If HR administrator grants a role to employee using a ESS application.

SAP EP role which someone has changes using this action.

Is it possible ?

Hi Jun,

Yes it is but users must refresh their browsers to see it. What you do is get hold of the UMFactory instance and use this to add roles to a user ID.
