Integration of Live Cache with R/3

Pls explain how livecache integration with R/3?

Hi,

As such there is no direct integraion between Livecache and R/3 , Livecache is connected with SCM System.

CIF is the integration between R/3 and SCM system.

Hi,

The integration between R/3 & Live Cache is as follows:

1. The historical data from Demand Planning (DP) is transferred into APO with the help of the extractors from the Business Information Warehouse (BW).

2. You can release the Demand Planning forecast to the liveCache and therefore create planned independent requirements. Alternatively, you can transfer planned independent requirements from the execution system.

3. The orders, supplies and planned independent requirements of the execution systems are transferred via the CIF interface into APO.

4.The planning results of APO, the purchase requisitions, stock transport requisitions, stock transport orders and planned independent requirements, are also distributed via the CIF interface into the execution systems. Planned orders can also create direct production orders in the OLTP system.
