Hi ,
We are currently using Solution Mgr 4.0 with SP10 and thinking about moving to SP12 (or SP13 whenever it comes in effect) and would like to know if someone knows any note defining the benefit of making this move.
We are not using the CHARM and not using Solution Manager for Testing.
I would appreciate any help
Thanks
Hi,
I would at minium level have SP11 in Solution Manager 4.0 for two reasons.
One is the Maintenance Optimizer, eventhough stated that you only need SP9, you have to implement note correction manually.
The other reason is, if you are using it for tester there are some issues with eCatt.

Hi Umair,
If you are not using the functionality of servicedesk,charm... i think you will be ok to stick to the current patch level what you have.

Hi,
Well, SP's are important to be updated. There maybe some of the stuff that you might not able to use it or compatibility issue could come in future. It is always recomended by sap to have latest SP's... Other than, I dont know what are you looking for?
Thanks,
