Hi,
We are adding some B2B functionality such as Activity, Lead and Opportunity management to an existing B2C solution. Consumers are using an internal number within range Z3 (0700000000 0799999999).
In B2B, R/3 is going to be the master for customers, and business partners will be replicated to CRM, keeping the same partner number, hence externally numbered in CRM.
We want to create contact for these business partners from PCUI. When the contact relationship is created, a business partner gets automatically created using an internal number. The issue comes from the fact that we dont want these contact business partners to share the same number range as our consumers, but there is no opportunity for the user to choose another grouping when creating the contact.
We are looking for a way of having two internal number ranges.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
AR
Hi Andrey,
It is possible to have more than one internal number ranges. But of them only one can be Standard Internal Grouping which is an internal number range picked by default.
May be you can make use of some Number range BAdis which on the basis of business partner role, picks up a different number range.
WIsh the information helps.
