How do i configure for SNOTE to download the OSS notes?
It needs some EFC destination but I do not know how to do the whole set up.
Please help. I am new to Basis.
Thanks and regards,
Bhaskar
Hi Bhaskar,
Please check the following link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/6a/15ef3957fd0a1be10000000a114084/frameset.htm
And then read the following note to setup your OSS1.
Note 35010 - Service connections: Composite note (overview)
Hope that helps.

Siddhesh

Hi,
Go to SM59 >> R/3 Connections >> SAPOSS
click on "Test Connection".
If this test is successful, then your downloads through SNOTE will also work. If this test results an error, then you may have to check your SAProuter settings.
Please award points if helpful
Thanks

Hi,
You need to set the Router Details in OSS1 Transatcion.
Parameter --> Technical settings.
Prerequisites
-
1. The SAP Router should be operational.
2. Server --> sap router --> 3299 ( Port should be opened).
Then go to SM59.
RFC Destination: SAPOSS
It should be working. If this RFC Destination is working.. SNOTE is Operational.....
Award points if helpful..

Hi,
Did you give the values in OSS1 Transaction. After that check the SAPOSS RFC Destination. It should be working.
To check whther the 3299 port is open or not.. Login to your solman system at OS Level and
telnet <saprouter hostname> 3299
It should open a blank page.. This will pretty much say whther the port is open between you r server and router .. If you get a error message ask your network team to open the port from server to saprouter.
Award points if helpful.
Thanks,
Tanuj
