Create Vendor master

Hi,

In the initial screen of Create vendor master- XK01, I want to make company code and purchase organization as mandatory fields.

How this can be done?

Hi this can be done through transaction SHD0 with the help of ABAP

For this you have to go SPRO>FI>ACcuont payable>vendor >master> set field status for the vendor master

there you can make the setting whether optional /mandatory /required the way you want

Field ststus depends on the account group

Vendor Accounts>Master Records<Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Records>Define Account Groups with Screen Layout (Vendors)</b>

now you will get .The vendor account group is important as that defines the sreen layout

but it is not there. the company code and porg field.

i want to make company code and porg in the initial screen of vendor master (xk01) as mandatory.

Hi,

This can be done through field selection options in Vendor Master configuration.

Dear Bhargav,

If you want this setting you have to maintain user level.so it is basis people duty to maintain

if have knowledge to do i will tell you how to do

select that feild and press F1 and note down parameter id and go to SU01 and click parameter give here noted infirmation and save

come back to XK01 and check the data is default as your requirement but it is work only that perticular user only

when you doing take care

the solution is good one. this makes the default value only but not makes the field manadatory.

any solution to make it mandatory.
