How to compleate a workflow - leave application

Hi experts

i have five steps in my workflow

1.start

2.activity - create leave

3.approve

4.In approve step(Send a mail if approved or rejected)

5.end

the thing is am execute the workflow and approve it, but after approved the workflow is not completed it says its in process, what may be the case?

i have see many of the blogs and also in the triggering events added from approve and form rejected, activated the same in the outcomes.

why is that my worflow is not completed, is there any thing else to do?

am new to workflow, please do not copy paste the urls.Explain me in few lines

Please check the workflow log through swia. Probably the approval step is waiting for aterminating event that is not getting triggered and hence wflow not getting completed.
