I think he is asking about using CRA for treasury transactions within FSCM and his clarification is regarding whether an error can be generated while doing the treasury deal if the limit is exceeded instead of a warning.

I know that the system gives a warning for sure, but am not sure if in the new version ECC 6 this is avaialble, kindly clarify it will be nice to know.

Thanks

It all depends on how you configure it and where you expect to see the warning/ error.

In SD you can have a credit setting so that if a Sales Order or Delivery or even Billing Document is raised it will be blocked as the credit limit has been exceed.

In Finance if you were to post a journal you can get warning messages to appear.

Are you using standard AR, or FSCM?

Where do you want the warnings/ errors to appear?

Hi Ramesh,

Are you focusing on the credit management module with Collections Management?

In Credit Management in FSCM there is a way that once the credit limit is exceed the amount becomes blocked.

The problem with Credit Management as it is in FSCM is that is does not linkn directly back in to SD, and you block against the BP and not perhaps a Sales Org or a Credit Control Area, but a Credit Segment.
