GUYS

I am getting for some of the sales transaction in CRM as TO BE DISTRIBUTED OPEN

Can any one tell me what is technical meaning or reason why this status is comming for sales transactions.

this is appearing for transactions which occured on 08/10/2007 onwards.

The document remains in status 'To be Distributed'.

The problem is caused by a program error.

Solution

Under certain circumstances, the system does not unlock the document from the R/3 Backend correctly. This document remains in status 'To be Distributed' and thus cannot be set to mode 'In process' on the interface. This is caused by an exception logic that was implemented by BW and that sends all items (that is, even the items that have not changed) to the outbound adapter in the case of a header change. In the R/3 Backend, the items are filtered so that the CRM Server cannot unlock them. The problem is solved by the attached sdv correction.

Hello BJ,

This is probably because these sales orders are listed as R/3 sales orders in the transaction customizing.

When you save these sales orders, CRM will attempt to replicate these sales orders to your R/3 backend system. Now, CRM will only replicate these documents when they have the status To be distributed. This is to prevent that sales orders that contains errors are replicated to R/3 while still containing errors.

If you don't replicate your sales orders to R/3 or, if you don't have a R/3 system connected at all, you don't have to worry about this.
