about GL account

hi sap gurus

while creating GL account, the error message is the GL is already have been created but it is not showing in FS00 ( GL account list).what is problem .

plz get it soon

Hi Srikanth,

FS00 is used mainly for creating a G/L account for a Company code. It might be that you must have created the G/L for a COA in FSP0. Just type in the G/L account and give the company code, it picks up the description from FSP0.

Go to t code SE16 and enter table SKA1

Enter the GL account you want to create and check with CoA it is created for.

See if the error comes with that the GL account has been created then check in FSP0 Chart of Account, sometimes it may be created in Chart of accounts but nt in Companny code in FS00.

Also check where that GL account has been blocked .
