CC going to sleep??

Hi,

Am using a Sender File adapter. It was working fine perfectly all these days until yesterday when the adapter just refused to pick up files. All i did today was just reactivated without any change by selecting the status button to inactive -> active and it worked.. What exaclty is the problem?? Since this has happened in production it is very critical.... and can happen again

Any clues?

Thanks

Pavan.

Pavan,

It could be due to automatic cache updation failure.

Hi Pavan,

Some times it happens the cache will not get refreshed and it will stop functioning ...after reactivating it will work.

Thanks

But is there any permanent solution to this?? Or we have to manully activate it every time it goes to sleep by refreshing the cache.....!! Strange but hope we have a permanent answer to this..!! Points rewarded..!!

it seems that, it happens when adapter has not been used for a long time ..yes you have to activate manually if it is in Prd environment!!...

Check the VA logs. That may help you to analyse the error.

Usually if there is a cache update failure, it is resolved by reactivating the channel.

Visual Administrator logs. You need to use the tool Visual Admin or Log Viewer.

Contact your BASIS team to get access to these tools.
