Adding of Customer Field in Contracts and making it mandatory

Hi,

Can anyone provide some information whether we can add the "Customer Field" in Contracts? And even it should be made mandatory.

I think we can do it AKTH - creation mode, when I am selecting AKTH or ME31 and clicking for details, I am getting an error "Control Processing Error". Hence, I am not able to confirm whether we can add it or not. I am working on this error.

Please let me know how we can add the Customer field in Contracts? And what table should be updated with this?

Hi,

Customer Field in contract is very much possible

Go to SPRO >Purchasing > Develop enhancement for purchasing

You can find the enhancement MM06E005 customer fields in purchasing

documents

and these are release independent so you can create project and implement this

with the help of ABAP

Hope this will resolve your issue
