Dependent reqmts not generating

Hi Experts

I created a planned order for the Finished product, I converted into Production order.

Iam not getting Planned orders/ Purchase Requisations for my dependent requirements,,

If i check in MD04 for dep items it is showing "ordres" in MRP element. Iam not able to see either Planned Orders/Purchase Req why?

One more thing is there any list to see Pending Planned orders for Dependent requirements.

Hi srihari,

please clarify , whether "dept reuiremets or planned order/ purchse req " not generating. once you convert the planned order to production order , dependent requirments will be converted to reservation for depent items.

How do you create planned order by manully or by MRP run. For manul creation of planned order, sytem will not create planned order/pur Req automatically for dept items MRP, For that u have to run MRP.

Hi pradeep

I had run the MRP for the header material using md02

after creation of PIRs using md61.

I checked in MRP4 view --MRP dependent requirements is blank.

Do you see any depenedent requirements in the md04?

Are the componenets defined as Bulk material?

Go in to the planned order of the header material and press components picked for the planned order

Hi,

please do following checks,

1.any dependent requirements has been created for your child materials in Md04.

2. Bul material tick for child material in MRP view.

3. Special procurement selection =50 for child material in MRP view

4.any exception messages for header materail in MD04

Dependent requirements are able to see in MD04

The materials are not bulk.

I converted planned order of the header material to Production order how can i see

planned order of the header material

Basially check whether the MRP has picked the right BOM or not? it can be in production order also.

once you convert the planned order to production order , u cant see the planned order.

why do you want to see.

I checked every thing in MRP views as per you message, i had not given any special procurement,Bulk material for dependent reqmts

My problem is not solved

As per your reply , what i understood is , you are getting planned order for your header material based on your requirement after MRP and for child material (dependent) dept requirements have created, No planned order/pur req ...

i hope ur child material doesnot have stock. Please give us some details.

1.whether your child Material is RAW material type or..

2.i hope child material MRP type Not equal to PD.

3.have u assigned any MRP group for your child material.

4."Md04 - Header material Planned order, any exception messages "

5.please check if header material BOM is exploded.

6.please check have u set any "Plant-sp.mat status" for child material material Master.

Either you are having sufficient stock for the components.

or Components MRP type is ND

or cross plant status is for not planning.

When you run the MD02, select the Display Materials list and in the results screen go to the Material list and double click on the compoenets to find out the exception messages.

Check in MRP4 view of the Finished product whether depending requirement nto be planned box is checked?
