Quota deduction

Hello Gurus,

We have concept of Leave Carry forward.

Current Years Earned leaves are converted to Carry forward leaves for Next Year.

Taking into consideration the following scenario

A] When we are going to generate EL quota for FEB 2007(i.e.1.25) through

PT60

i) system is freshly replacing quotas for year 2007 as 2.50 days, instead of

adding inprevious record for year 2007.

Eg: Suppose JAN 2007 EL quota is 27 (2006 balance EL quotas 25.75 +

JAN 2007 EL quota 1.25) then FEB 2007 EL quota should be

27+1.25=28.25, but system is giving 2.50.

ii) System is again generating quotas for year 2006(1.25* 12) as 15 days.

Need urs help on urgent basis.

Hi,

Go to IMG>TM>Time Data Recording & Admin>Managing Time Accounts using Attendance and Absence Quotas>Calculating Absence Entitlements>Automatic Accrual of Absence Quotas>Permit Generation of Quotas in TE.

Select Increase field radio button for your Absece Quota.

You want your employees's leave entitlement to be determined on a monthly basis (pro rata) during time evaluation. You want the new value to be added to the existing entitlement in the Absence Quotas infotype (2006). You select the Increase field for the relevent quota type in the view.

The system calculates the entitlement acquired during the current accrual period and adds this value to the existing infotype record. These quota types are referred to as those that are increased.
