Hi Ravi,
Could you please send me the document mapoliveira@portoeditora.pt ?
I'm creating associating a characteristic in CTBW and gives the error that it doesn't exist but it is available when I search it.

Marta

Hi Meng Haur,
CTBW is used to extract Classification Data.
The extraction of classification data is class type dependent. It means that you have to extract only from the class type, witch you selected during the generating of DataSource (in the transaction CTBW). We can also find some documentation on R/3 side, SBIW->Settings for Application-Specific DataSources->Cross-Application Components-->Maintain DataSources for Classification Data (CTBW), there is also a good explanation on how to set things up.
The transaction CTBW is an R3 transaction which is supported on BW with CTBW_META which creates corresponding InfoSources and InfoObjects.
Consider the datasources which are created using CTBW as extension of master and transactional datasources.
Note 306046 - Characters of classifctn - attributes in BW
