It is possible, u can use DSTR(@date,'YYYYMM') to return date and month..

Thanks for ur quick reply, In my scenario i need to pass yearmonth as an input to an RFC. where i have to write this formula. i am very new to VC.plz help, points should be rewarded.

Hi resmi

If i am right, u need to pass this value to RFC, then u just click on the submit link between form and RFC, u will get the Input fields and Assigned Values. in the assigned values row, u need to select the row which pass date, there u need to write this formula..
