Hi,

I want to know what is change request, Task and Transport request.

What is the purpose of EK01,EK02 and EK03 in a pricing procedure and in what ways they behave in a pricing procedure.

<b>EK01 & EK02</b>

1)EK01 can be used as a basis for determining a price for the make-to-order item.

2) EK02 is a statistical condition which can used instead of VPRS to calculate the profit margin for the assembly item.

3)Condition type EK01 is mainly used for cost-plus contracts in which the sales price depends on the expected costs.

4)Condition type EK01 is selected for sales document type TA (standard order). This means that the value from the cost estimate goes directly into pricing. A surcharge is calculated from this value and the net value for the sales order item is calculated.

<b>change request</b>

A change request is created whenever do a change to the existing configuration. Reasons for a doing a config might be that there is config mistake or the client requests for an enhancement ie., what is not already there or an additional functionality which the client needs.

Also a request is generated when we do some abap development. A request simply stores the changes made. And those changes ie request we release from development server to quality where it is tested against the desired result. Found good we move it production. The requests are moved by the basis consultants.

And releasing a request is irrespective of any module. Its a change made to the existing functionality.

<b>Transport request:</b>

Normally the change will be done in the <b>development client</b> & testes in <b>quality client</b> & then it will be moved to <b>production client.</b>

The moving the changes which u done in development from qulaity then to prodcution is done by transport request.

Hi Kannan,

Change request:

Whenever U configure or modify the std SAP settings like - Define sales organization, A change request no. is generated by the system.

This request is generated in Dev. server. To have the same configuration & settings, U need to transport to Quality & Production servers.

Transportation of the change request is done by Basis consultant.

EK01 and EK02 have been provided for cost transfer of line items.

EK01: If we choose it the result of the sales order costing (integration with controlling) is first printed to the pricing screen for the item. The value can be used as basis for price calculation.

EK02: System simply takes the result of the sales order costing as a statistical value (only for information purpose
