hi,

my question is regarding to MRP

After MRP run we gate the planning schdule as per deta given by us.But if we change the material qty. in production order then how planning adjust for incresed qty. Is it automaticaly adjust or requier manully changes.

When ever there is qnty change and you ran MRP with Lead time scheduling then you need to reran MRP

if it is basic scheduling then you dont need to do anything because date will remain same

Hi Nikam,

If you manually change the dates of the poroduction order, you can schedule it accordingly in the production order and simultaneouly do the material and capacity availabilty check. At this point of time, you can check for the possiblity. This schedule of the production order reflects in the next MRP run for the schedules lying in that period.

Do meant to say while converting Planned ordre to production order, if any qty changes , automatic schedule will happen or not...

The system will schedule automatically if ant qty changes , when u save the production order , if The "Automatic Scheduling" check box has selected In OPU3 for your order type/plant combination.

u can also do manually scheduling in production order.

As pradeep has suggested the autoscheduling in OPU3 triggers scheduling every time a production order is saved.
