Hi Experts,
Just curious to know that,
1) If there is some peculiar case, where the object is in QA, but absent in DEV, so, Is it usually, exercing/allowed practice to move a object from QA to DEV?
I guess, its depends the type of the object, I mean, clarify pls. for follwoing objects,
1-Report prog.
2-SMARTFORMS
3-LSMW
4-SAP Script
Thank you.

Hi Srikhar,
In case the object is available in QA and not in DEV, then inorder to have consistency across the systems, you can move objects from QA to DEV.
Inform the BASIS team, your Transport request no. which has those objects & they will move it to DEV.
You can move any type of objects from QA to DEV, no constraints.
Best regards,
Prashant

No its not suggested generally, it mostly depends on your company policies.
But one best alternative from a developer prospect is create or copy the object into DEV and then again transport to QA System.

Hi,
In general, all objects usually are transported from DEV to QA then finally to PROD system. But some objects are created in each SAP instance such as ABAP query, LSMW program, and etc.
For report program, Smartform and SAPScript are usually created in DEV and transportable objects.
