Uploading Task List Long Text using LSMW

Dear SDN,

I searched the forums for a solution to this problem without success.

We are on ECC6.

I have created an LSMW to create task lists using the following:

Import Method: Standard Batch/Direct Input

Object : 0490 (General task List)

Metthod : 0000

Program Name : IBIP

Program Type : B (Batch Input)

The BDC generated from the LSMW behaves as expected up until the task list operation long text screen, where:

1. my long text is imported successfully

2. BDC-OK_CODE = /3 is submitted to exit from the long text screen

3. the 'Exit Text' confirmation screen appears:

'Save changes in texts first?' --> Yes/No/Cancel

This screen (SAPLSPO1 0100) is unexpected.

As a result, we had to use the "coin trick" and run the LSMW in foreground mode

Has anyone got a solution for this?

Cheeky..... There's a difference between 'solution' and 'work-around'....

Eddy, I have always found it easier and simpler to do uploads thru the second option "Batch Input Recording". Even for standard transactions I always found it easier to record the BDC and use it for upload. I have seen similar problems in the classification tab of functional locations while using the standard. Just a different point of view. May not be exactly what u r looking for.
